J.A. Henckels Airplane Smoker's Compendium

An extraordinary Art Deco airplane form cigar smoker's compendium by J.A. Henckels of Germany. Consisting of two hinged cigarette cases, track mounted to an aircraft body with a hidden interior compartment for storing cigars. A turn of the propeller engages the steel cigar cutter. Complete with nested ashtrays and a removable match striker cap cover for keeping match sticks. The underside features a wheeled hidden compartment. Nickel plated silver brass. A fantastic showpiece set for the cigar aficionado and pièce de résistance for the Art Deco or aviator collector. Excellent condition.
