Antique Gorham Artillery Shell Cocktail Shaker

A superb first world war artillery cocktail shaker and shot glass service set.  The eighteen pound brass shrapnel shell base. The silver plated cylindrical upper section featured an internal strainer and brass cover engraved with "time and date" fuze. The lower hollow cylindrical shell casing holds a removable vertical stand holding four shot glasses. Manufactured by the Gorham Silver Company of Providence, Rhode island circa 1918. Excellent condition.
